Rantings of a Clueless, Unsatisfied,Technology Freak

HomeMe, Myself, and IJun 27, 2007
Well I look very snobbish at first but I do get along with people easily. I also am very talkative when I get warmed up.

Hmm what else?

I find it hard to describe myself, I think it would be better if you would just talk to me and get to know me... That would do me better justice than what my limited writing skills can achieve.

Since it is true that words are the biggest liars of all...

Oh yeah I love singing. I used to have a band. =)
I usually sing Alternative and R'n'B songs

and I love doing photography here is the link -- http://www.pbase.com/we54_ph/ to old pictures I have taken. Its compressed for easy downloading, with a sacrifice in image quality...

I also have a newer site with compressed photos at http://picasaweb.google.com/Raphael.Atienza

Arne: Nahilo by the end of the night
Anna: Natutulog tapos "WTF" natapunan ni Eren ng Vodka
Eren: Fail. Drunkeness. Tinapunan ako, si Anna at si Ria ng Vodka.
Ria: Wait did you catch your flight?
Fresh: How are you? Were you harassed? Won't drink much. Boo.
Angel: (Need not drink. She is high whether she drinks or not.)

Blog EntryIndividualistic Doer (Got this from Maiky)Jul 9, '08 10:59 AM
for everyone

Individualistic Doer (ID)

http://www.ipersonic.com/test.html

Individualistic Doers are self-assured and very independent persons. They are quiet and realistic, very rational, extremely matter of fact persons. They strongly cultivate their individualism and enjoy applying their abilities to new tasks. But they are also very spontaneous and impulsive persons who like to follow their sudden inspirations. Individualistic Doers are good and precise observers who register everything which goes on around them. However, they are not so sensitive as regards interpersonal relations and are surprised when they occasionally rub someone up the wrong way with their direct and blunt manner. They are not particularly fond of obligations; but if you give them space, they are uncomplicated, sociable and cheerful individuals.

Individualistic Doers enjoy challenges - action and the odd kick are simply part of their life. They love tempting fate and many people of this type have risky hobbies such as skydiving or bungee jumping. This also applies to their workaday life. Individualistic Doers are in top form in critical situations; they can grasp situations, make decisions and take the necessary steps extremely quickly. Hierarchies and authorities impress them very little; if a superior is not competent, they will have little respect for him. Individualistic Doers like to take on responsibility. They have a marked sense of reality and always find the most suitable and expedient solution for a problem. They resolve conflicts openly and directly; here, they sometimes lack tact but are also very good at taking criticism themselves.

As friends, Individualistic Doers are loyal and devoted; they only have a few friendships but many of them last a lifetime. People enjoy talking to them because of their optimistic attitude to life and their ability to listen. However, they prefer to talk about mutual interests and hobbies rather than about theoretical or philosophical issues - they are not tangible enough for them. They need a lot of freedom and time to themselves in love relationships but, at the same time, they are also very tolerant towards their partners. It happens very seldom that Individualistic Doers fall head over heels in love. They are far too rational. They prefer to pick their partner on the basis of mutual interests and preferences which they want to share with that partner. Individualistic Doers are not particularly fond of effusive outbursts of emotion. They prefer to prove their love by their actions and expect the same of their partner. Whoever wishes to tie an Individualistic Doer to himself needs a lot of patience. It takes some time before this personality type is willing to get involved with another person.

Blog EntryWhat Raphael MeansJun 13, '08 4:37 AM
for everyone

What Raphael Means
You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are influential and persuasive. You tend to have a lot of power over people.
Generally, you use your powers for good. You excel at solving other people's problems.
Occasionally, you do get a little selfish and persuade people to do things that are only in your interest.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

10 (a) 4    (b) 2     (c) 3     (d) 5     (e) 6     (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS :  Others see you as someone they should 'handle with care.'  You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant.  Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS :  Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones.  They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure.  They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS:  Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well balanced not to let it go to their head.  They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS :  Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical.  They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest.  Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but and who someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do makeexpect the same loyalty in return.  Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS:  Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy.  They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder.  It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS:  People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the de cisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything!  They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist.  Some people think you' re boring.  Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

What did we do again today? WALK AROUND! Ok we passed by the Opera House again (Ok Ho Chi Minh is quite small, 30 minutes from their airport). While walking around exploring we saw these quaint plant pot holders (wala lang interesting.)

After we passed by the "Notre Dame" Church (yet again for the 3rd or 4th time!). Then nearby passing by the Park and the Parkview Cafe, we went to the Reunification Palace. This place was the where the seat of government was during the Vietnam war. This place is HUGE and beautiful! We took some pictures of the view of the fountain and the park divided by the wide roads. Pictures of the Mini theatre, the Gambling room, et cetera. This place is huge! high ceiling. It takes quite a few flights of stairs to ge to the next floor.

We then took some "walang magawa" picture in front of the tanks that busted the gates of the Reunification Palace (some time back during the Vietnam war). After seeing the horrible things the US done back in Vietnam I can only say one thing. War is EEEEEVIL! WHat they did was horrible. THey aren't any better than what the Japanese did to us back in world war 2. Concentration camps, massacres, chemical bombs! What the US did to vietnam is almost like what the Japanese military did to us. Weird. Chills down my spine... freaky. Looking at the pictures just really freaked me out (to add to the effect the pictures and history was in the bunker like basement...) It was just freaky.

We then passed by the "Notre Dame: church again! (What can I say it isn't that far). Then we ate at Ban Cuon LA. They had really great vietnamese food. Great coffee, great mushroom pork rolls, great scallod rice toppings, great spring rolls. Delicious. :D

After we then went to the post office blah blah (I forgot what we did after).
Being really tired we then went back to our hotel. Me being bored took pictures of the chandelier at the hotel. We then went near the opera house to have dinner at this Korean restaurant. (It was my first time to drink SOJU.... mmmm)

After it was time to get back to reality. Off to the airport to catch the flight back to Manila. Boo back to reality. Back to our crappy NAIA one airport. Ok I was admiring Ho Chi Minh beautiful new airport... The architecture is beautiful.

Went out walking around again today. Explored the area near the "Notre Dame" church. Ho Chi Minh has beautiful old trees. They had this park in from of their reunification palace.

Afer walking around the park we went to this cafe Parkside View Cafe that seemed to have all of the locals smoking, drinking, and having coffee. Their restroom had urinals with LCD screens. Weird. Something different. I had the local coffee spiked with some Bacardi. It felt like a 50/50 mixture. Haha. It was delicious! (Says the drunkard)

We did some walking around again, saw the view of the wide streets splitting their beautiful park in two. After a lot of walking around we then ate at Vietnamese Broken Rice (Whatever that means, rice toppings maybe...)

Ok I kinda forgot where we went after but then we ended up having dinner outside the Ben Thanh Market. At least I can say I experieced it once. Ok the food tasted food, but we were on the street, dirty, dugyot, gross, disgusting, unclean, unhygienic... blah blah blah. Never again. Of btw a cockroach crawled on Frankie and my mom (not gross enough of a picture?) To clear my palate of the disgust we ate at this local ice cream chain. The ice cream was more of a sherbet. I loved it. My mom and dad had the strawberry and I had the local citrus (almost like dalanghita or dalandan). It tasted delicious! :) By this time I bet Im 5 pounds heavier.

We again did some walking around and went to the Opera house. (Ok we walk around the whole day... My feet are killing me.

After arriving at 1am in Ho Chi Minh and taking a short nap, my family and I woke up to have breakfast. Then we walked and headed to the Ben Thanh Market... I hate that place it is so hot, so humid, so dugyot... Ewwwww
Anyway we then took a few shots in front of the "Notre Dame" church and bought some stuff at the Diamond mall. We then headed to this crappy Museum that is like a covered courts structure. There weren't even any english translations (so the museum was really for locals). Nearby was Ho Chi Minh's city zoo and botanical garden. So we headed there since it was nearby. It was nothing great. It was ok. At least it was nice to walk there and see the massive trees, the "dancing" elephants, and flowers.

We then walked a few blocks to go to where tita Nini and friends were staying. We then took a cab to go to a few malls. Took some pictures of the horde of motorcycles. We then had coffee at a local coffee chain (thank god there is no starbucks here), it was called Highlands Coffee. The coffee was delicious. :D

After having that short break we then went to Saigon Square for some shopping. Ok it is a bit cheaper than Manila but its nothing special really. We then ate at this really great chinese restaurant. Deep fried soft-shelled crabs... mmmm (BTW Vietnam has 1 million chinese residents).

We then did somemore walking around. Went to some local stores and saw this really nice building. I forgot what it is for. I think it's city hall. Anyway. Bad experience after... my mom was trying to withraw and we were trying to list down the balance, then the ATM ate the card! Ok so we were directed to go to the HSBC Main Office the next day. Good thing it is near our hotel.
